cant login

description

Hey there,

my evaluating setup Win7 x64, IIS 7.5 Express, SQL 2008 R2 Express.
Setup was fine. Client is installed.

But I cannot login whether with google nor win-auth.
I put some screens in the attachments...

Google:
"Factory could not validate credentials..."

win-Auth:
Here the system suggests me an username in the way username@domain.xx.xx and says then "Invalid pw or username". Here I tried any combination of domain and users. Could it be, that "at htt.//localhost" is the prob?

Thank you and sorry for the shot sentences, i'm not speekin' english that good...

Hi,

Don’t worry about English. Neither do I speak English that good.

I would suggest the following steps:

(1) I notice that your client is configured to connect at ‘http://localhost’ Make sure this is the address where you installed Scrum Factory at IIS.
If not, at the right corner of the login screen, change it to your server name and app name. Something like: http://YOUR_SERVER/YOUR_APP_NAME (2) Regarding the Google Authentication, if your network has a firewall/proxy, you may need to configure it at the server web.config, using the standards tags: <system.net><defaultProxy> …

(3) Regarding the Windows Authentication, the Server tries to detect and connect to your domain server. Sometimes you may need to specify your domain server name using the following tag at web.config appSettings:

<add key="WindowsAutheticationServer" value="YOUR DOMAIN NAME" />

Hope it helps

Hi klot,

thank you for the quick response...
Now it is working fine for the login.

But after logging in there occurs an error message on top of the screen. This I can close an edit my accound data.
But if I try to create a new project the app crashed (I think it could be the same behaviour like in the other ticket).

The error-log is attached...

Thx again!!!

Hello wds1212,

Thanks a lot for the log file!

It turns out that “Microsoft JSON Serialization” seems to have bug for DateTime MinValues at countries at GMT +1 time zone.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4025851/why-can-datetime-minvalue-not-be-serialized-in-timezones-ahead-of-utc

I would have never figure out that living here in this side of Greenwich.

Just start and exit of the application, then start it again.
It will detected and install the new client version 2.16.0.25.

It should fix the problem.

Thanks again, and please let me know if everything went fine

Your support is amazing!!!

After installing the new Version of the client it works for the JSON prob.

But another error occurs, which I post in a new issue, so that others have the chance to find similar solutions ;)
